The Power of R is a waste reduction education program funded by tipping fees offered by Comox Strathcona Waste Management. When household and industrial waste are taken to the landfill a tipping fee is charged to manage its safe disposal and a portion of those fees also funds waste reduction education. If you are a school or teacher in School District #71 or School District #72 our educators are available for presentations, educational workshops and as a planning resource.
